Dog's neck measuring Instructions
This is the way to measure your dog's neck correctly. Not too loose, not too tight and in the middle of dog's neck. 
To make sure that neck size is measured right, you might take something flexible (ribbon, string etc) and place it around your dog's neck. Length where two sides meet comfortably is your dogs neck size.
Another way to measure it is your dog's old collar. When you place it by the measuring tape, from the tip of the collar buckle to the currently used hole, it will be proper neck size too.
In this example dog's neck is 21". That is true measurement that we need for centering dog's name properly.
We will make collar that allows plenty of room to get tighter or looser, depending on your preference.
At the end, your dog collar will look like on our sample, with name centered on the back.
Dog's neck size will be second hole from tip of the buckle. (You can request different range depends if your dog is fully grown or if still growing). There will be three more holes after that. So there is plenty of room for adjustment.
Personalized leather dog collars are made according to your instructions, and for your dog only.
We cannot accept return, or resize collar if your measuring is not properly done.

It is important to measure your dog's neck in order to choose proper collar size. Please read instruction "How to properly mesure dog's neck". When you measure dog's neck, choose one of the collars sizes that will best fit your dog's neck. Use table bellow to choose correct collar size:

Example:
If your dog's actual neck mesures 10" you should choose 5/8" collar, size 14 (9.5"-11.5"), if your dog still growing, or size 12 (8.5"-10.5"), if your dog is fully grown.
Cat's neck measuring instructions

Another way to measure it is your cat's old collar. When you place it by the measuring tape, from the tip of the collar buckle to the currently used hole, it will be proper neck size too.
For personalized cat collars we need your cat's real neck measure in order to center name propperly.
